Team Kane/Horne at the Finish Line.

What a weekend!! Friday, Mark & I worked & then went downtown to get our numbers & swag for the big race on Saturday. Then we went to visit our dear friend Jeannie in the hospital. She had a full hysterectomy. She shocked us all on her fast recovery. She was walking around & really doing great. Happy recovery!! Then we got home to a house full of CARBS. I wish I had taken a picture of all the food that was prepared. Baked potatoes, spagatti and of course several of Mark's homemade pizzas. Then it was off to bed to catch some zzz's. Al Roker Jr. woke up at 4a.m. after some loud storms to check the status of our race weather. Rain was to be gone by 6:30a.m!! The start was clear with a little rain right before we started, but after that it was cool & a great running race. Aunt Becca & Megan were our shuttle service. They had fun people watching & crusing around LP field in the BOB. A great race & TONS of people-over 35,000. The Kane/Horne finishing order was Jeremy, Mark, Ben, Lydia, Jess. Mark did a personal best of 1:50.00(but his chip didn't register). Way to go team!!
