What we have been up to

Summer Fun. We have been busy, busy. We are enjoying our summer, but really could use a break with the 95 + degree weather.
Megan took swim lessons from swim teacher Megan. A few of us organized private lessons at one of our friends pools. It was 7 fun filled afternoons. Megan loved Swim Teacher Megan and misses seeing her. Megan swam for the University of Virginia and is going back to teach Kindergarden next year until her fiance graduates from Law School and then we hope she moves to Nashville. Wyatt and I sweated on the deck with the other kiddos every afternoon, but got to enjoy a popsicle after the lesson which was well worth for everyone I was hesitant to even do the lessons(even though I organized them), but Megan was jumping in and swimming underwater after a few lessons. Greatest bargain lessons. This was perfect for her. She has always loved the water, but never would wear any water wings or anything, which is good and bad. So a big thanks to swim teacher Megan for taking on 5 wild three year olds who want to do everything themselves. They all loved it and are all little fishes and mermaids!! Brings back memories of my fun filled summers spent at the pool teaching kiddos all day. I did it for how many years, but something about teaching your own child, is so much harder!!!

Outside enjoying a Popsicle. NICE outfit. My friend Angie came to visit us and every meal Angie would tell Megan if she finished her meal she could have a Popsicle. How did it work for her. Here she is outside enjoying a Popsicle with Angie.
Wyatt on the go. The boy is quick and gets into and under EVERYTHING.
Ran errands & didn't even think about the fact that she was so quiet in the back seat. She knows not to open her make-up, but well as you can see she didn't listen this time!! We had just picked up her new ballet shoes. I guess she took the meaning of princess to the extreme.
She was so proud. Nothing like cleaning off melted princess, glitter chapstick off a hot sticky princess.
