Happy 4th!!What a great day. We spent most of the morning outside & even watched the neighborhood bike parade at the end of our walk. I really thought Megan would like seeing the fire truck that leads the parade and all the kids, but didn't realize it became one of the highlights of her day. The parade ends at our club house for a big cook-out. The firemen hook up the hose and spray all of the kiddos. Megan loved watching it all and even got wet in her stroller. Let's just say now with big eyes and very dramatic fashion she now says " FIRETRUCK....WATER" and then she will point to her shirt and say "wet". It is so funny, b/c she is still talking about it. Ohh the little things that kids love and remember. After nap we headed to pick up Mama C and cook-out at our house. Kind of sad but we really didn't see any fireworks due to the rain, which was fine, Megan was asleep and we went to bed as well. We can usually see a bunch of different shows from our driveway, but not this year. Oh well!! It was a great day.

The best part of the day getting to see Mama C and hold baby Alley for the first time. She did very well and then decided to point out all of Alley's body parts!
Which of course lead to putting her blanket and animals in baby Alley's seat, which is referred to as a rocker.
