Double days at the library

CHEESE!!!(She has now learned to say this).
So excited to make another trip to the library. She loves to run around, sing songs &  look at books.

Can you believe it? My phobia of books and quiet library's is being cured by becoming a mom. Today we went to story time in the morning, then out to lunch with our twin buddies Hobbs & Lee or as Megan calls them "House and E." Oh the kiddos had so much fun and so did the moms. We got to witness what lunch hour must be like at school. It is an organized disaster. Each child starts with "their" lunch and by the end they are all sharing and grabbing others food. They talk and giggle with one another, each performing for the group at some point. The great part is, for the most part they finished all 3 lunches. Then it is time to ask for a broom to clean up the floor.  Good times had by all. We headed home for a long nap and then back to the library for a puppet performance of Llama Llama Red Pajama. We were a little worried about the kids with the puppets, who knew what they would think of their first puppet show? The three of them just stood their with their mouth open and stared. They were mesmerized. They were totally quiet and into the performance for the entire 20 min-that is a record!!  It was a full house and a very cute performance of the book. Thanks Dolly Parton and the Imagination Library Performance. We loved it and yes, I survived two trips to the library. It is not so bad....at least in the kiddo section!!
