We are home! What a fun 9 days we had in the mile high city. I guess all good things must come to an end. We managed to make it up to the mountains for a day of skiing/snowboarding. We had probably the best powder we have ever snowboarded on. Everyone enjoyed a beautiful day on the slopes and no injuries.(pictures coming. I knew a camera would not survive my falls). At one point we had 9 people at my parents house. The only people missing were Ben and Lydia. We enjoyed a lot of Wii, shopping, outdoor runs, relaxing and a ton of good food and drinks. We got kind of spoiled having so many people help out with Megan. She loved hanging out with family and entertained everyone. I am a little worried she is going to be bored when it is just her and I again. She has developed more of a personality and is talking more and more. She did add Santa to her vocabulary during vacation and refers to him as Ci Ci who says Ho Ho. Her favorite toys were the kitchen cabinets, strainer, Santa figurine holding a dog(at Mama C's baby gets what baby wants!), kitty, red bear and of course monkey. Megan did get tonsillitis the day before we left, which was scary since she had to go on an antibiotic for the first time and we all know how allergic I am to medicine. She was so pitiful, you knew she was in a lot of pain, nothing worse than your child being so sick. We made it home after contemplating a longer stay. The plane ride went much better than we anticipated. It was nice to get home. We made it home just in time to watch the ball drop on New Year's Eve, which is a first in a long time!!! Now it is time to get organized for a New Year. The Kane's have a tradition or I should say Coach gets out his basketball white board and we set our goals for the New Year. Each person writes down a few goals and puts their initials on the board which hangs in my parents kitchen to remind you each day as you pass by the white board(or at least it used to!). Anything goes!!! Throughout the year our goals are achieved. At the end of the year they are reviewed and erased. Megan even has goals this year. We had some add-ins via internet so the board is done. Good-luck and best wishes. We are looking forward to a wonderful 2009!!!Happy New Year!!!
Remember the old school big wheels? Mom found this and thanks to Uncle Jeremy who put it together. The Kane kids spent hours on our big wheels.
Not quite big enough to reach the petals. Once she can she will be off outside.

Coach supervising Megan's bath. He decided she needed a mohawk.
Aunt Becca, why did Wubba take a bath as well?
Megan thinking about her goals for 2009. You can see the white board in the background.
