Race for the cure

Megan wearing her team t-shirt.(thank Kim!)
The running crew. We missed the big group shot due to traffic and we all rode together so we decided to take our own photo before we all took off to run.

Saturday morning we ran in the 5K  Susan G Komen Race for the Cure. This is our third year to do this race. It was a beautiful morning-thank goodness it was a month earlier this year, normally we are a little chilly. They also moved it downtown versus Bicentennial mall(the gay and lesbian parade got that location!). This year was an extra special race day. NH dental partners has two employees that have batteled breast cancer. Hygenist Kim is a survivor and front desk Karen-who took over my spot has just finished up her chemo and is doing really well. We all ran the race in honor of her and were the Special K team. There were a ton of people with a lot of free stuff at the end. Megan enjoyed people watching and chowing down on the panera bread cranberry vanilla bagel after the race.
