Christmas is 5 months away! My friend Erin and I are co-chairing Breakfast with Santa and Santa Snaps in November at the Factory in Franklin, which is part of the Junior Leagues fundraiser Tis the Season Market Place. We loved it so much last year that we are doing it again this year! Actually we got suckered into making it bigger and better.  Yes, we have been talking Christmas since February.  Hobby Lobby joins in our excitment of Christmas and begins putting holiday stuff out July 4th weekend.....so sad, but it is good for us when planning. Today we had a meeting with Santa Claus to work out details for our big event. This Santa Claus is the real deal. His resume is quite impressive. He is a member of the Santa Club, has Santa buisness cards and the best is a belt buckle with Santa Claus on it-only in TN! What is so neat is that he really does truly believe he is Santa everyday of the year.

It is priceless to see the kids around him. Collin is almost 4 years old and really wants nothing to do with him. He stayed upstairs the entire time, yet when Erin is on the phone with Santa or talks about him he gets so excited. She can use the Santa is watching you all year long, b/c she checks in with him all the time. Now, the ladies loved them some Santa. They were all about him. I wasn't so sure about Megan, since she has recently developed a fear of men with facial hair, but have no fear she loved Santa and his beard. Annie(20 months) loved ole Santa as well, she was showing him all her toys and even hopped up in his lap and he read the girls a book.  Make your lists, cause Santa is checking them twice. According to Collin, Santa is on vacation and checking in with all the kids. Collin's list will be checked at a later date.

This is the only Santa Megan has met. I am hoping the "fear" of Santa isn't this year. Last year she had no clue and just stared at him with his bright colors and pulled his beard.  We shall see. Next week we are hoping to get the kids picture made when we meet with our photographer. I will keep you posted. You never know what will happen!
