Charlies at two weeks, eats ALL the time. Pretty much every 2 hrs and about the same at night. Gigi continued to come each morning, and we even managed to have a morning to tackle doing it all alone, yes me 3 kiddos and out the door by 8:30, for school. Not EASY, but we did it. The older kiddos were doing well, but didn't know what each day had in store and who would be picking them up from school. I think they were both having minor adjustment issues. Wy didn't know if it was a school day or not and Megan started asking me who was going to pick her up. Time to get some order!!! Let's just say by Thursday evening, the HONEYMOON was over. Megan was delirious. She hadn't napped in 3 days and was fighting sleep, crying and just uncontrollable. Now each night this week, was getting considerably worse. Charlie was waking up and a lot more vocal, which mixed in with sleep deprived parents was umm crazy to say the least. Thank goodness my mom was here holding Charlie Thurs evening, b/c Mark went to put Wy to bed since he couldn't deal with Megan anymore and we switched, well Wy decided he was so nervous he puked ALL over Mark, so to the bathtub AGAIN and the clean-up began. We determined he wasn't sick, just nervous and sensitive to all the crying & new schedule. The boy who was a dream to put down was fighting his crib and now puking!! Needless to say we had some work to do over the weekend. Wy continued to fight his bed(PRAISE The LORD for CRIB TENTS!!) and Megan pulled every trick out of the hat when it came to bedtime. I got the puke on Sat evening. That is when I decided Sunday was family day. We spent the whole day just hanging out, we went to the park and just laid low and started a new week. Everyone was better adjusted and the puking had stopped and we learned quickly Charlie was like our other 2 and fought sleep, so no more cuddling with you buddy boy after your siblings go to bed, you want to go to dreamland as well. Funny, how after 3 you just know what to do or at least have tons of options!!
