We celebrated Megan's 4th birthday a month early this year, since her new sibling is due 5 days after her real birthday. She woke up the Saturday of her party and told us it was her "pretend 4th birthday." She was so confused, but the bottom line is this girl loves a party. She had a few different themes she wanted, but in the end we ended up with a Fancy Megan soiree and it was sooo much fun!!!
Party entrance...bubble machine and all.
Fancy Megan ready for her friends to arrive with her new Fancy Nancy doll in hand and her Frenchy purse.
This little guy was the only boy invited and he got "fancy" as well. So natural!!
Of course it was a garage party. A little hot in mid August, but we all know the Horne's love a garage party.
The boys in pink ready to see all the fancy girls.
Delectables and of course the purse cake...side note, the purse took a tumble after delivery, but have no fear they pieced it back together and once you took a bite of it, you forgot it even fell. Megan also picked out her OWN candles including a #4 and a rainbow candle. She was quite proud.
I think someone has plenty of Fancy Nancy loot!!!
Fancy Megan ready to blow out her candles

Some friends

We can be fancy and jump as well.

The girls having so much fun on the swing set

How many precious girls can you fit in the play house?

Pinata time.....dig in and collect some goodies

out of order, but Megan trying to hit the pinata open. Side note, she called for us about 30 min after we put her to bed the night before the party to ask Mark what we were going to use to hit the pinata. We told her we had something and to go to bed. She suggested a steak from the tomato plants. This girl is a planner..thinking about all the details for the party. (you know I LOVE that!!)

Then it was Wyatt and Alleys turn. Wyatt decided to grab the fishing net to try and bust it open. Nice try little man!!
Once the party was over, Megan wanted her nails and toes painted and for her Dadda to do it. Mark did a pretty good job!!!
Happy 4th Birthday Megan!! It was such a fun easy party. Fancy Megan had the greatest time and LOVED having all of her sweet little girlfriends over dressed up to play, make Fancy art items, paint nails and eat lunch and cake. So much fun for a little girl!!!
