Megan's special day

Today was a girls day. Wyatt went to Grandad and Gigi's and Megan and I had a little special day together. We went and did some pre planning for her upcoming birthday and then we went to get our nails done. Megan was so excited to "get pretty". I didn't know how she would do, but you would have never known it was her first time at a nail salon. She choose hot pink for her nails and light pink for her toes & no she was not going to change her mind. She also told the lady exactly what she wanted. I did manage to get a pedicure. Megan is excited for her nex time when she gets to put her feet in the water(they just painted her toes and hands!!)

Staying very still and loving every minute!!

So happy!! She didn't even have time to meet Mark for lunch, she had to get "pretty". Then it was off to Chick-fil-a for lunch-Meg's choice and then to run a few errands. We then went to a puppet show at the library.

While we were at the library we decided we needed to check out their movie selection. We found the Little Mermaid. This is Megan's new favorite movie, although she has never seen it, she calls herself Aerial. Well, we found the VHS Little Mermaid. I told Meg that we still had a VCR but she would have to watch it in our room-deal and then we checked it out. Yes, sister this is how we used to roll. When we got home, Mark was a little confused-VHS, umm our VCR is upstairs and I don't know if it even still works!! Well, that was not going over very well. He worked for about 30 min trying to get the thing connected to our downstairs T.V. and about 2 min before bedtime, the Little Mermaid was playing. OMG the screen was awful and it was such a BAD picture. Megan was ver confused on what a VHS was and why she couldn't pause it and the rewind button-lord it was loud. Anyways, we kept it a week and put some wear and tear on that used sucker. It was a sad day when we had to return it, but thanks to Mark he ordered her a DVD of Little Mermaid and we can't wait to view it!!!

What a fun day. Megan had a great day, but these two were happy to see each other after a few hours away. They love each other, but it was a much needed break for them. This is the way they ride these days. Wyatt just sits and waits for her to ride!! Hold on buddy!!
