Guess where I got to spend Mother's Day?? At a bike race!! Mark's team hosted a race very close to home that Sunday morning, so we packed up our bikes and headed out to cheer him on. A little trip to Starbucks and little sunshine and we were set. Mama C was also there and Jer and Tracy also stopped by to cheer on the bikers. The kiddos had a great time and Megan wanted to race as well, because she is getting so fast!! There is a kids race, but maybe next year.
Our little biker.
Two hot kiddos. This cheering section was worn out.
That evening we tried out Megan's new Dora fishing pole down at the creek. She had soo much fun....little does she know we didn't take off the little weight. No pics of the Wy guy. I had to hold him, because he would have dove into the creek!!
My Mother's Day gift from Megan. She was sooo excited about her gift. That week when I picked her up from school, she told me she had a surprise jewelry box she made me for Mother's Day, but she couldn't tell me about her secret. Then the day she brought it home in the bag, she said "you must wait to open this!!"
So sweet. Now, if you will notice, she put all of HER jewelry in the box. She decided I could put one pair of earrings in there, but she needed it to store her stuff in. Sweet even if she doesn't understand the gift of giving at 3 1/2.
