We started the Elf on the Shelf this year. Megan really doesn't get it. I mean we read the book and Mark says the Elf is creepy looking. Well, things changed when the Elf brought Wyatt a sock monkey ornament and Megan a deck of princess cards. Now the Elf brought toys, Megan thought "she" was cool. I told her one time she couldn't touch her and she has listened. This morning after the elf delivered her chocolate advent calendar(old school punch out one) shenamed the elf Tigger. Well after church dinner tonight, she came home and decided to have on a legal name change. We now have Cupcake the Elf. So far she has encouraged us to listen and eat our dinner. She might NEVER leave.
