HORNE FAMILY: Christmas Eve 2009

(FYI...I did some blog catching up so there is a lot of posts. You may even have to click on the bottom for more posts. I have not been good, but have fun reading!!)

Today we went to the Children's Christmas Eve service at 3p.m. at Coach's church in Colorado. Alley and Aunt Becca are in Colorado as well as the Horne Clan and Mama C & Coach. The rest of the gang will be here Christmas day. This is a very interactive service which is perfect for all of Coach's grandkids. Megan loved being in the big church and we all enjoyed a few laughs on her behalf. A few highlights:

Alley was baby Jesus(Wyatt was in no mood!) Once Alley went forward to the manger Megan ran down the isle with her two candle lights and few pieces of hay. She stayed up there for quite a while staring at coach who was Joseph.

When they refered to "Mary" in the service Megan started singing Mary had a little lamb rather loudly.

She flipped through the hymnal & once she finished she looked at Mark and said" that was a good book."

She got a little restless during the service( I mean it was 30 min) & Mark took her out to the parlor & then onto Coach's office where she found a stuffed bear and brought it into the church and to the manger. Then we all looked over at Coach & he says wait" that is my bear."
