Derby Saturday was full of rain and lots of parties. Megan went to her first princess birthday party for her friend Rylan. She was NOT into the whole dress up part. She would have preferred to go in her neckies, bracies, diaper and shoes and socks. I slipped the dress on and bribed her with snackees. She did have a fun time once she warmed up at the party. She actually like the balloons and thought all the other girls were so fun to play with. Rylan got a big jump house like Megans, which was downstairs in the basement since it rained ALL day. Megan is still not a big fan of the whole jump house. She did play in the other room, so we are progressing. Such a fun party.
Saturday afternoon was Bobby Todd's and Mr. Mullen's 8th annual crawfish broil. The rain took about a 3hour break which was nice for the 80+ fans of the broil. It was one big muddy mess, but everyone had a blast. I can't believe I have no pictures. It is hard to watch a 19 month old and catch up with lots of old friends. Good times, music, crawfish, beer, friends and kiddos. Always a fun event, that we look forward to the first weekend in May.
Can't believe I caught a smile before we left. Before the snackees, she was not a happy camper. Look at that sexy princess! The dress was a little big hence the strapless look.

Opening gifts. You can see on the floor is Megan who was all about getting into it all.
