This past weekend Jay, Amanda and Eli Owings came to visit from East TN. Jay and Mark were roommates in dental school. Eli is 10 months old and Megan refers to him as Ya Ya. Boy did they have a lot of fun together. Eli is ALL boy and has no fear. He is pulling up on anything, including mobile Megan. I forgot how much little ones like to explore new places, so Eli got introduced to cat food within minutes of entering the Horne house. I think he kind of liked it. Saturday night we had our own circus at the house once the Griffins joined us. 6 adults and 5 kids ages six to four months, I don't know how much more fun you can think of having on a Saturday night. It was great to all be together and all the kids did great together. There were movies, ball kicking(not Megan) and lots of fun. Thanks for coming to visit Jay, Amanda and Ya Ya. Next time the girls get more time to visit, since the boys decided to play golf in the cold on Saturday. Megan enjoyed all the company and was worn out on Sunday. She slept for 3 1/2 hours after Ya Ya and the Griffin gang had worn her out. You know you had a good weekend, when we took the trash to the dump and had the smell of poopy diapers and the sounds of beer and wine bottles clanking together. WOW, times have changed over the years. It is always good to catch up with great friends. Good times had by all!!

We had a great time too! Eli missed Megan all day on Monday. I was definitely not a substitute and he was cranky! Jay has found row row downstairs and that has become their pre-dinner entertainment while I slave in the kitchen! Can't wait to do it again!
